Hailee had ONE good movie nearly two decades ago, and got praise for being a child actor who could emote and wasn’t a drooling retard like most Disney and Nick kids her age.
Since then, she’s made low level shitty movies that fall into two categories: failed franchise start ups like Enders Game and Bumblebee, or boring as fuck indie movies that manage to get no award attention (which is different than actors like Kristen Stewart or Jennifer Lawrence who make boring ass indie movies that people actually pay attention to). In between all that, she’s tried to become a pop star, and somehow wound up with a worse studio contract than Dove Cameron or Victoria Justice while at one time having a higher profile.
Her only saving grace so far has been being cast in a Marvel phase, which has done jack shit as she’s been overshadowed by Elizabeth Olsen for acclaim and She Hulk for outrage. She’s so unremarkable Marvel fans don’t even have a strong opinion about her, and those nerds can’t shut up about anything.
Maya Hawke doesn’t need to sell fast fashion bikinis like Hailee does with Frankie’s to stay relevant. Get a fucking clue.
