test drove one a while ago. almost as claustrophobic inside as a fucking coffin. seats were weirdly uncomfortable, which was surprising because Volvo typically had the best seats in the industry. Would rather stick with my old XC90 and drive it into the ground despite the shit mpg

Somewhat overkill for commuting, but still inadequate for traveling.
Too big to park in an European style city and probably too heavy too (everything above 4400 pounds and more than 15ft has serious parking issues, sub 12ft cars preferred)
Probably cost over 40k euros.
Why does no-one in this single person household infested world produce cheap but roomy 2 door cars. They were everywhere when I was younger.

You have a point there, but if you compare it with a current 5 Series, the Polestar 2 is higher and it has a bigger ground clearance. It's not much, but the difference is there.
