>>119303844>the original persian culture survives to this day
Maybe among some diaspora in the west, but certainly not in Iran.>caused the rise of shia islam
Persia was sunni until the 16th century when the Safavid dynasty forcefully converted the population to Shia because they wanted a distinct brand of Islam to compete with the Ottomans. Most of the Persians who refused to convert fled to other arab countries and are still there to this day.
Also the most historically powerful khaleeji tribe the ajmans are persian rape babies.
Both persian and arab dna are found in Iran and the gulf, as well as in other parts of the middle east. There is no such thing as racial purity in the middle east we all have ancestors from all corners of the middle east.
And Iran is still 10% sunni to this day, which is a lot more than the 0.03% of zorastrians that still exist.>if someone tried hard enough they could probably still make persia great again
As someone who has been to Iran I can tell you that Persia is dead except for tourism moneys.
