Amerifats, its been tough time for american heavyweight boxing.
in the 90s you were the kings of the sport. now a joke, an also-ran, and its been this way for decades
you want the next great american heavyweight, but dont know where to look. but dont worry, I, a boxing savant and historian have compiled a list of the 10 most promising american heavyweights for you to support and watch on their way up to heavyweight glory.
this is for real boxing fans and not casuals, so anybody who is already a title holder or well known guy like ruiz, bryan, hunter etc will not be on here its purely up and comers
there are hundreds of active american heavyweights so it was not easy to cut the wheat from the chaff, this has been painstakingly compiled and only includes boxers who have passed the eye test. many were asked, and many were found wanting. only these 10 answered the call
hopefully it inspires someone to find a guy they like and go watch some of his past and future fights. also to screencap it and see where these guys end up in a couple years
if youre an american prospect and arent on this list youre a BUM
1. Jared 'The real big baby' Anderson -NABF Junior Heavy champion
10-0 Pro, 23-5 amateur
has won every pro fight by KO, a great amateur with a win over standout Cam F Awesome (if you dont know this guy look him up, hes based)
Has both the boxing skills and the power, definate potential to be a future champion
2. Roney 'too much' Hines
12-0 pro, 8-0 amateur
Hines has all the potential in the world, having never recorded a loss in both amateur and professional bouts. slick operator that moves very well for his size.
