I like it, but then I am a positive guy who good things happen to. This gonna be a walkover.
Giroud upfront is crucial - teams have to defend the highball into him, so they cant press on the wings as easily as when there is a manlet drifting in and out of the box all the time.
Also, you stat fans can stfu - damn i hate those useless statistics, assists, rated so highly, as if the pass just before may not have actually been far more important than monreal/bellend putting it across the six yard box and jiroo tapping it in.>>73632323>unironically comparing arseshaving to the wizard
Also, any stats fan care to explain to me how the crucial actions of a striker making a run into the box, thereby creating all the space on the wing for the person with the ball to run in, dribble a little and score are recorded in the statistics? (inb4, they are not? thought so..)
Guess what, if that run hadnt been made, the defender would have easily closed down the player with the ball, therefore it was a crucial part of the goal bein scored (yet the striker never touched the ball, never received a pass, made no assist, etc. ad infinitum).
Seriously, i know most never played football at any serious level or paid any attention to the tactical movements going on off the ball, but it really is a lot more than those bullshit numbers the daily fucking mail, optajoe, the sun, etc. keep coming up with.
