The argument is that economic migration is the result of European conquests, riches and infrastructure that Ireland benefitted from under British occupation. Immigration isn't a deliberate punishment by a community but a reality that, Irish people included, have undergone due to fiscal imbalances.
Your issue isn't that people are coming here, but that these people are black or in some way racially distinct. They could hand you a bag of Tayto and you'll still be uncomfortable. It's espwcially retarded given that a significant amount of crime in Ireland (tinkers, junkies, paramilitaries) has been historically from natives.
