>>15015114So, Sisters of <Whatever> who happen to be on Icelus, in the Convent of the Nightingale.
Medieval abbeys sometimes had offshoots all over the place, like Cluny had hundreds of them at some point. I could see Sisters of many Orders in the Convent of the nightingale and its offshoots, but how comes they're all there? Some convents of Dialogous, occupied with forbidden knowledge for centuries, have almost zero contact with the Imperium as long as their mission takes, so what makes Icelus get such a mixed Sisters contingent? Are they mostly passing by, or are they stationed there? It must take crazy logistics to supply all of them, and what with the training schedules for all of Philosophs, Fighters, and Healers. "Minor hybrid Convent where all Orders mix and, and they all train in all Sister arts" guys, it's snowflaky. Let's decide what they do already.
I dunno Blood of Martyrs well enough (less extensively than the Inquisitor's Handbook and 40k fluff generally), but I think all Hospitallers are the most versatile Sisters all around. They can do about everything, the Militant can do everything at fightan' and the Famulous and Dialogous are more specialized at social and lore. All can fight pretty well, too.
tl;dr : Sisters who do errything is snowflake. Justify why there are Sisters from tons of different orders on Icelus. The Nightingale is mainly Hospitallers, but they happen to train social skills (diplomacy, teaching) too.
