STAR KRAKENS CHAPTER - THREAD #2
CONTINUED FROM:
>>27776983
What we have so far:
>Newer chapter, from the 39th or 40th Millennium
>Based out of the Deep, a dark, ink-black nebula in the Segmentum Ultima
>Homeworld: Mobius, an asteroid cluster fortress hidden far within the Deep.
>Have found cool gear that allows their fleet to navigate through the Deep as no other force can.
>The Lighthouses - one, an ancient ship with a guiding light on the prow that allows the fleet to navigate, the other located on Mobius, as a central beacon.
>The Lighthouse also has offensive capabilities - a massive interference signal, capable of overloading any spacecraft - or even localized Hivemind transmissions.
>more importantly Huginn and Muninn
>Huginn - An immense stellar array that can map the entire Deep, down to the movement of every asteroid and even local disturbances in the Warp. No enemy may hide from it.
>Muninn - A repository of all the information collected by Huginn. All the secrets collected and hidden things seen by Huginn are kept by Muginn.
>Excel in space combat and ship-to-ship boarding, having access to Breacher Siege Squad wargear found aboard the Lighthouse ship
>They fight as the mythical Kraken fought: using terror warfare, they stalk their prey within the Deep, then emerge and attack without mercy.
>Have a religious fervor for the Deep, as recruitment involves "drowning" aspirants in the void of space, then resurrecting them as Recruits
>much of their chapter culture involves deep sea and Viking motifs, like thralls taken from the worlds at the fringes of the Deep
There's much more specific (and excellent) writefaggotry in the previous thread, read it to get a feel for what we're making here.
