>>33115768>Fang being untrustworthy wasn't even considered part of the issue.
And do you think that might have been exactly the problem?
The original plan was to just spam Nightblaze at him while connected to a mana pool. Adavan was creating a teleportation spell to get the rest of them out. It wasn't too bad of a strategy. It would have lasted at least long enough for them to get out. Fang wouldn't have been expecting anti-magic, because that is a skill pretty much unique to Shadow.
As soon as Fang started talking, everyone started stroking their anti-villain boners and just went along with what the cool NPC wanted.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love Yi Fang -
But seriously. Hello! Least trustworthy character in the game!
And then what happened? We ran into Sandalphon. Fang didn't want to give up Abigail, obviously, so he used us as his getaway card, and we ended up in a cage. Shocker!>>33115952>We made a deal with him before we found those things out, faggot.
You must not have been paying much attention, shithead. SM had the timeline pastebin up for a while before that, detailing the wars between Archon and the Ring City. Multiple characters mentioned him and his deeds during the course of our journey before we met him.
