OP seems to have vanished, luckily I am ALSO an LGS worker, so I can answer some questions. >>63027919
Working in Technical Theatre or performance. I had to take time off of my goals due to recent family issues, Dad got cancer and passed.
The LGS gig is from a friend who I met in College. He opened the shop rather than get a Master's Degree, and hires me. >>63028020
I don't have any dietary restrictions, though I try to avoid pungent foods before/during work. >>63028028
Personally, I like it. You get to recommend games to people, look at interesting stuff coming out soon, etc.
The biggest downsides are when local markets don't match your expectations. Like, sometimes we spring for a comic line and it doesn't do well despite everyone in the shop liking it.>>63028031
Similar to OP, I see the value in updating/improving our Air Force, but I don't like this specific project's budget.>>63028063
We are not hiring. That resume does look like there would be plenty of shops that would like you, but our store is fully staffed. >>63028077
Other coast, man, sorry.>>63028092
Retail, easily. But we're a tourist town, very small local community for playspace. >>63028142
Not exactly. We do have recurring guys who check in once a week or more for their particular interests. >>63028757
We don't have that issue. >>63028780
I would honestly recommend you consider seeking professional help before taking your own life. Unless you're personally rude, cruel, or abrasive, it's quite likely that at least some people look forward at least a little bit to seeing you, and would be sad to know you're gone. >>63028798
As noted, it was very easy for me to get my job, and having worked in a Supermarket Bakery, I vastly enjoy this job more. Then again, my bakery Job was essentially "bakery janitor+ whatever needs doing", so it's not hard to beat "3 hours of mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing every day".>>63028918
