What to do in Lyon?

I'm a student in Lyon but I basically spend all my time inside the campus, dont really know the city itself, will have 1 week vacation next week and wanna know what to do nearby, or what to do in Lyon. Budget = 150euros

Lyon is one of my fav cities in France! You can visit Fourviere Hill, this hill was the location of Lyon's original Roman settlement and still is home to ancient ruins from that era and take cotes du rhone tour with wine and chocolate tasting. And don't forget to visit Paris (it's in just 1h52m by train from Lyon). I was trying to get to the cathedral on the hill top there once. Ended up invading a private school for engineering. Good times.

Oh yes, and I'd go skiing in Switzerland for a week.

Ahhh I would give anything to be back in Lyon

Just stroll around the hills of old town and Fourvière and Croix-Rousse. Perfect city for walking. Then I guess going to some events that interest you? Museums? Food is spot on wherever you go. Parks are comfy (Tête d'Or, Miribel Jonage...). I was told that the old town had some secret paths that were accessible from buildings or something but I never looked into it.
Nice towns nearby: Chambéry, Grenoble, Annecy, Clérmont-Ferrand... Around Grenoble and Chambéry there are great national parks, lakes and so forth. I'd recommend a day trip or 2

Which school are you studying in ?

I've never been to Lyon but the Chartreuse is by far my favourite place in France.

They're called traboules

Also you can check the villages in the northwest (near the Azergue river), they're built around vineyards in typical yellow stones. There's a swamp in Villars-les-Dombes with an ornithological park. For the city itself I don't know it very well.

The old town (vieux-lyon / st-Jean) has some great places to visit, like the musée des miniatures, wich is full of movie props.
The Part-Dieu center is great for shopping, and the LCL Tower has a cafe on the top floor from wich the view is pretty nice.
If course, Bellecour, Rue victor Hugo and Rue de la république are top spots too for shopping and sightseeing.

That's some of the things that come to my mind, but depending on what you want, I might find something else

If you want to go to a true "bouchon Lyonnais" and eat true "Cuisine du terroir" you can go to "Le Comptoir du Vin"
It's 2 rue Belfort, 69004 in la croix rousse

This is the raw experience though, don't expect the chief to suck your dick, and since he is a rude old fuck, don't be surprised if you hear him say he wants to eat a wet cunt out of the blue.

So yeah, you don't go there for the service but for the food and the atmosphere, and the prices are really fair unlike the other hacks.
