What do you think, do well-adjusted people with an active social life use penpal sites to chat with foreigners or are they busy living their real lives?

Gentlemen, which messenger apps do you move these women onto afterwards?
Currently I'm using Telegram, Wire and IG (which isn't linked to anyone I know IRL of course).
Need apps that don't use your phone number, because I hold a lot of BTC & ETH on online platforms; not gonna risk being SIM-swapped.
