>>2383823>Question is what are you really looking for in a holiday?I'd like to see nature, meet some locals, get drunk at the bar, and meet up with my local friend that I've not met irl before. I'm fine if I spend more than a few days in nature. Australia in particular is somewhere I've wanted to see for myself so I figure this is a good time to do it.
A preliminary plan I've made is this: I can spend the first few days around gold coast hitting beaches and driving along the coast, spend a weekend in sydney, then I could see some nature in NSW and Victoria for the following week, and then I could end my trip with a weekend in melbourne. I figure that's plenty of time to meander around without overextending myself. I'm thinking of staying at a hostel when I'm in the cities but I do have to carry 2 weeks worth of luggage with me so maybe not.
>The night life is pathetic. Sydney and Melbourne is full of immigrants so if you're going to hang out with white people in the city, you'll be disappointedThat sucks for sure... any way around that? I was going to get drunk with my friend for at least 1 weekend.
>>2383893So do you think I should stay in South eastern Australia? Some youtubers said Western Australia is underrated, but it seems very empty and far away from the bulk of the experience.
>adelaideWould you recommend visiting Adelaide?
>>2384004That sounds pretty Kino not gonna lie, but I don't think I have the time to go to the Northern Territories. Maybe if I fly, but driving from Darwin to Brisbane would probably take my whole trip. I'll think about that. and as this anon
>>2382451 mentioned, What do you think about driving around Tasmania?
