>>177290700I'm with you, anon. The show started when I was in middle school and it was such a phenomenon. Matt and Trey seemed cool as hell and genuinely outside the Hollywood culture. I looked forward to watching it every Wednesday, even when it was reruns. And Comedy Central re-ran it about three hours every day anyways, so I've seen some of those early seasons like 100 times.
I don't really blame them for going Hollywood after a decade or two, but it is a bummer that there's nothing like South Park anymore where the artists are comfortable making fun of everything. I do blame them, however, for how fucking bad the show is now. They can go Hollywood, but there's no reason for it to be so unfunny.
Oh well. They had at least 10 great seasons. Better than anything i ever did.
