I know, but we were discussing accidental pregnancies and the morality of abortion. I said that in most cases, people think that a kid is going to ruin their lives and they won't be able to follow their dreams; but most of them won't actually be remembered, change the course of history, do anything impactful etc., so they should just keep the child. From society's perspective, that's the best thing. But I didn't say that it's an objective truth.
Interesting thing is that I got the weird looks from people who agreed with me, but their argument was "it's the right thing".>>88883683

I'm not a nihilist. Or at least the kind that goes around and says that life has no meaning and we should all kill ourselves etc. I actually believe in the ideas of culture preservation, even though they ultimately have no purpose, since humanity won't last forever.
As for life in general - even though it probably has no meaning, why not spend your time on Earth productively and pleasantly?
