You can do it through meditation. While respecting regular meditation regimen, you also have to acquire a conscious attitude towards life.
Few distractions, eliminate mental garbage, no TV or other mindless media like videogames (because your attention is scattered, those things destroy your consciousness), eat natural, no processed foods, no shitty "food" products or ultra-sugared drinks.
All of those things combined will bring more clarity to your mind and your body.
Read books, strive to read them on paper rather than on screen, you get way more information retention from physical books.
Being more sensitive to "paranormal" starts from cleaning the temple. The temple being your own body, which includes the mind. When your body is in tip top shape, your perception changes itself, which you further boost by regular meditation sessions. The most effective way to meditate is doing it regularly at a specific time (of your choosing), because you basically open your own portal, or build your own "workbench", through which you craft the experience and receive new information from the universe/etc. If you're irregular with meditations they typically just cleanse your mind, which isn't a bad thing either.
I say "paranormal" because it exists around you anyway, you just don't notice it. By cleaning the temple you elevate your consciousness and vibrations, so you're perceptible to things of similar vibrations. It's a long road, and truthfully it never ends. So if you're determined, you can start now. Just don't expect to see changes 10 mins after turning off your TV.
