>>30018907>We were all assigned a military rank,
Now this larp got retarded really fast. That's not how it works, at all. Military ranks don't work that way, at all.> we had to follow very strict rules
This would be true though. Every research place has strict rules, so you don't fuck up research, or danger yourself, or others. Especially true at Antarctica.>just an infinite white.
You expected a homo fest forest? That's how Antarctica is you dum dum.>although all the ships had satellite internet, one could not access messaging except in writing
Most likely your phone connection provider doesn't cover fucking Antarctica, you dumb ass. I was once hiking at north, and guess what? only satellite phone had any connection. Some people had like one bar at the highest point, but my provider had none.Satellites, how do they work?
Or did you mean that there was a ship connection you could use, but it only allowed text? That could be also true, to save bandwidth. How did you connect it then? . Or what do you mean? Try to be more clear when you larp, or was your idea just say vague shit and see if something sticks? Be more clear!>You could not take pictures.
This is nothing special really. Most research places have a strict no picture policy, for one, research is a competition at its heart. You could reveal people and machinery and or data, that's not meant for general public. Also most places allow you to take pictures, as long as you ask for permission at each case, and if everything is ok, they are happy to pose.
