If you don’t think of writing as a creative field than you do not understand a thing about writing. You also do not understand what Twitter is, because people use it for conversation all the time. If you want to write for games you necessarily have to be able to demonstrate the ability to write in general. It doesn’t have to be full length novels, but at least short stories of like 10-20 pages.
Think from the perspective of your prospective employer, why would anyone want to hire someone like you? Who self-describes as not being special, not being creative, having no passion?
If you get nothing else from this thread, than I beg of you, go see a therapist. I don’t want to hear any of your bullshit “I don’t see how therapy could help me.” I am telling you that you are wrong. You don’t even need to come up with a story. Just tell them everything you said here and how you feel about yourself. Because I’m telling you that your problem has nothing to do with your skills, but everything to do with your attitude and emotional state. Normal, healthy people don’t talk and think the way you do. We cannot help you. I truly, genuinely hope you at least listen to this one piece of advice, because I don’t want you to go down even deeper on this dark road.
