i wanted it to sound quiet and not-distracting like the bgm in porn flashes, but putting the full quality song at 50% volume kind of sounds like it was just saved with the wrong volume level and makes you turn up your volume to compensate
the compression helps a bit that it makes it unpleasant to listen too closely
maybe it would help if there were some sound effects with normal volume to hint you what the sound level is supposed to be, or a different (louder) intro song or something
