They're fucking everywhere so nobody will give it a second look, they're cheap to repair and can be driven into the ground, the higher ride height than the Japanese sedans people have mentioned make them better for surveillance. The marginally higher ground clearance and AWD might unexpectedly come in handy at some point too.
Give the windows some light tint that keeps them glossy, so it's harder to see into your vehicle from certain angles when the sun hits it. Tint too dark will make the vehicle stand out.
