the front subframe is literally the front end of the LH platform, which was developed with Mercedes' expertise before the merger and is based on the S-Class.
The back subframe is directly based on the C-Class, Dodge simply added an anti-roll bar to the design. If you see an LX and a '90s Mercedes parked next to each other, look under the rear bumper at the suspension arrangement -- they are practically identical.
So not only is it two Merc platforms improved and joined at the middle, it's also a RWD Intrepid.
