My 335i is about the most new I want to go and the design architecture between the newer more modern Bimmers have not advanced that much despite the fancier tech so like 90% of the new features that you'd actually want can be retrofitted in some capacity to my e90. Even things you'd never think about like 5-Series soft close doors, rear comfort access handles, Extended Bluetooth combox with 4G connectivity, etc
Newer Bimmers are just a bigger, more bloaty car, with a fresh coat of paint. I'm honestly good on anything younger than 2010
