Soft ass suspension, the Suzuki ones are great all rounders but actual mx bikes with lights are the best handling. (ktm exc, Honda crf450l)

drz400 or dr650 are both indestructible but depends on how far you need to go on roads where you live. Shorter get the 400, and if really short then get a 250/300
