Highly likely in my opinion. History shows that war will always be part of human nature. I think there will come a moment when an international incident causes the leader of one of the world super powers to act in a way that causes global outrage and war.
I think for example a world changing act of terrorism like 9/11 but bigger could be the thing that sets it in motion. We have already seen the Russians are happy to send spies onto UK soil to use chemical weapons for assassinations. How long until a terrorist organisation becomes powerful enough to employ nuclear or chemical weapons in western countries. Just an example.
We know that from previous wars in Iraq and Afghan can cause international outrage but I put to you gentlemen that these toy wars are the precursor and lead up to global war.
It could begin as a proxy war, NATO backing rebels in Iran and Russia backing the Iranian administration.
Anything could set it off, at any time. I think it is astonishing that it hasn't happened already. I think the longer it goes on, as the last people with living memory of the previous world wars and aftermath begin to die off; the world becomes more ready.>Nuclear war?
Without a doubt. The gloves will come off and there will be no more rules.
