>>272821315>The snake gave us knowledge, something that we seek multiple times daily, and yet we have the audacity to claim it is evil?
To what end does Man seek knowledge?
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” - 2nd Timothy 3:1-7
That last part.>They are ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Man creates bombs, weapons of war, chemicals used to destroy lives, and in learning the mind, M.K. Ultra and other such abominations were realised. The list of Man's abominations goes on and on and on like a horror story.
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” - Genesis 6:5>And the imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually
This is an observable fact of reality. When we reach, we reach for the sake of self. We have always been this way. Man is prideful, arrogant, selfish, inhumane, and a terror. The knowledge we seek is in "How can I be superior to my neighbour?" The Bible talks about the "simplicity of Christ". Simplicity? You mean like "Love thy neighbour as thyself?" That completely simple means of survival?
You mean having a sense of world community, alliance, and love? You mean recognising the inherent humanity and potential of all people? Yeah that's lost to us.
