fifteen years ago i would have defended these people, armed with a thousand facts and arguments diligently gathered from hundreds of news sources.
to call these people war criminals, i was convinced, was to be a small brain retard who didn't educate himself about the bigger picture.
but, it turned out, i was wrong. the bigger picture that i thought i had was a manufactured illusion - just shadows on the wall - keeping me from seeing beyond the established context of what was possible. the hundreds of news sources i thought i was educating myself with mostly turned out to be corporate agent propaganda - carefully and sophisticatedly crafted to entrap those who were trying to do the right thing by learning for themselves - that were all written by a board room and disseminated through bullshit fronts (e.g. national review).
we are blanketed with misinformation. cradle to grave, sun-up to sun-down. the vast majority have zero idea of what is really going on.
