I was thinking recently. If we look at the geopolitical map, for as far as Russia's western borders are concerned, Ukraine can very well be deemed by Moscow as the "final red line"
I have a growing feeling that Russia is willing to go nuclear over the Ukrainian crisis if things get out of hand.
I don't know the specifics of what concerns the RU General Staff has over the long-term threats posed by a west-aligned and ideologically radicalized Ukraine, but I would bet around 80% chance they are considering nuclear options if the conflict goes outside of their control.
What's your take?
