It's not like it's going to be a giant "POP" and that's it. It will most likely start with something that looks like this, except then it will spread into the whole park looking like that, and finally going into a full boil when the pressure drops enough to cause more gasses to come out like a soda.
A several mile wide hole spewing out ash and rock for a week or two.
It could be an extinction level event depending on how we handle outselves during it.
