There is enough work for 5x more programmers than we currently have. Without salary reduction.
The shit she is talking about is trivial at best. Web/Node stuff is entry tier programming. Unless you're doing c++ module integration or linear scaling.
But I don't know, this lady might be a solid developer, and this is just a web dev video.>>344473773
How many programmers do you know? Many are not nerdy.>>344473959
CS majors... there is a reason Elon doesn't care about your CS degree. A challenging test will tell you more about someones ability than a diploma. Yes I code for Tesla. We have a lot of people who just grew up coding that are normally way better than someone who learned to code in college. Real passion for code > degree.>>344474296
What the fuck are you talking about? Plenty of coders make awesome CEOs. Maybe much better ones than business major bullshitters.>>344475616
No they will just move higher up the abstraction tree. Its already happening with ML. It will get more challenging too, not less.>>344476515> I'm much happier being a data analyst who isn't constantly forced to learn all this shit with a lesser salary
Knowing how to code will give you a huge edge in data analytics. Many of the tools will require basic programming (which is what you did, it sounds like).
