Pretty sure he's trolling. I've been on keto for about 10 years, before it was even a fad diet, to control epilepsy. You don't put eggs in your coffee that's fucking retarded. You DO/CAN put butter or bacon grease in coffee, that is true, but it's like a teaspoon or two, and you blend it to emulsify it. It's not like you're just dumping it in. Alfredo sauce, for example is made similarly, it's an emulsification, which is why you can't save it in the fridge because it separates.
Anyway the reason you do it is because it's low fat intake, not low protien intake, that is the issue on keto, normal foods often don't have enough fat to reach the macro level you need when you cut carbs out.
BTW: Keto was originally developed all the way back in 1910 as a treatment for epilepsy, it has like an 88% complete remission rate and 95% complete or partial remission rate. Thats at least 30% to 40% better than any drug on the market (plus all the horrific side effects of course). The only reason they give you drugs instead of a diet regimen is that they say the diet is too difficult for most people to stay on, which I think is bullshit, but that's their reasoning.
