I think, like I said in the thread that the elites plans constantly change. Their objectives dont but plans do.
What has happened since the attack started, it seems Russias military is not as good as thought.
Putin thought his military is stronger. But its not.
So theres been massive corruption that Putin didn't know about. He is now seen weak by chechens and the longer this goes the harder it gets.
What I mean, well, why is Su34 flying at 1km altitude doing 300km/h dropping 500kg dumb bombs that dont even often blow up? And now theyve been shot down too? It should fly at 10km dropping russian jdams aka kab.
I think they have no spare parts. No actual laser or satellite guided bombs in inventory, they only have few prototypes.
The engines need more maintenance the harder you fly them. Thats why theyre flown slow. They cant go full speed or need immediate maintenance.
They likely lack spare parts and trained people. The accounting of money that went to spare parts the last years were likely forged. Soldiers had 7 years old food, but russias government likely paid the company to produce food for the last 7 years. So they didnt produce anything, and bribed the military to forge everything.
They might have ordered 1000 laser and satellite guided bombs, paid for them, received 0 but military database was updates to show 1000.
The generals hoped no war would start and Putin wont order any attacks.
Putin is a good strategist and good at staying in power and also keeping Russia at some level. But his leadership style is a bit like a Ceo/Trump and he outsources work to other people, who if they did their job, then it would be ok.
But seems folks who maintain the military have lied to Putin.
Like (im thinking this from my head):
"Putin: dear general of the land forces should we speed up manufacture of Armata."
"General: Mr President, we can upgrade the T72 with this ironcage and new ammo that penetrates even Abrams and LeClerc and optics and
