>>390976179>I know nothing of Russian cuisine though
It's very nice, should be definitely in top 10, but that list is fucking gay as shit. Italy is literally crappy pasta and pizza. that's it. >But my list:>1.Portugal
(imperial cuisine, top deserts, large choice of meat dishes from roasted goat to suckling piglet, ducks, insane seafood choices, great wine choices, etc). Absolute top overall.>2.French
aren't too far behind. Great choice of dishes. Top pastry.>3.Russia
(insane variety of wild game dishes, great soups, great pastry even tho not refined, a lot of different drinks, a lot of fishes, a lot of exotic things you're not likely to try anywhere else but they're very nice). Basically a fusion of best European&Asian choices. Very nice berry based sauces and a lot of nice hard liquor besides vodka. They are probably the only ones who still make mead like it was made back in the day. >3.China.
It has infinity of very nice dishes. Shitty deserts and pastry tho. >4.USA
has a very nice cuisine despite the meme fagging. It's a European fusion with a lot of Asian novelties like General Tsao's chicken which is exclusive to US. US created the modern types of pasta and pizza, improving shitty Italian versions by infinity. Cajun is absolute top. Crawfish, powboys, sandwiches in general. Nothing is better than US in terms of making the best steak. It's definitely in 4th place rightfully so>... everything else is highly arguable.
I can't really point out any other country for having a standout overall feel for their food. They all have a nice couple of dishes per country but that's about it. Some countries don't even belong on the list. Anything muslim has shit choice for dishes. India is food that looks like shit. Asian countries aren't special except China. Japs have only sushi to show for their cuisine and that's just not enough to get on the list. Everything else in Japan is a copy of some European cuisine and they love curry for some weird reason.
