"Russia took 7 months to take 20% of Ukraine"

This much is true. 7 months for 20%. But I think we should put this into perspective.

Current estimates put Russian troops at 100,000-200,000, including Republic troops and mercenaries/contractors.

With this number, Russia took an area larger than Benelux, or equivalent to half of Britain, or a third of Germany in about 7 months. Negligible amounts of reinforcements, with all of NATO directly propping up Ukraine with weapons and funding.

For a popular comparison, Hitler conquered Poland in a little over a month... with more than 2,000,000 troops (10x the Russian number) and Soviet help. Poland received little assistance - it couldn't, trapped geographically as it was.
