>>406571790It's a big story, for sure. Elon, Kane, both controversial characters at the moment. I would know, I myself faced my own little controversy when I first came out as trans. A few years ago, I found an online forum dedicated to trans awareness and stuff. Finding it was both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because, "Gah! There ARE other people out there like me!" but a curse, too, because I think it gave a false sense of comfort and security that coming out as trans would be celebrated and welcomed but it was anything but. My family shunned it and so did many other people, strangers even, it seems. I mean really, everywhere you look, there seems to be anti-trans sentiment. All major retailers you walk into, every major movie blockbuster seems to feature trans hate, all the biggest musical acts, it's like, when will it end?
