Any arsenal fan excited about Jesus is the most deluded fool one can imagine.
Arsenal's glaring problem (besides the manager) last season was goals. Lacazette was never the goal scorer he was in France, putting up abysmal numbers here. Now compare that to Gabriel Jesus, who had service from KDB, Bernardo Silva, Sterling, Mahrez etc. A striker who didn't score a goal at the World Cup for Brazil, when shitters like Fred did. Its clear he doesn't want to be a striker , he's more content on the wings. He doesn't have the hunger or the greediness necessary to score 20-30 goals, let alone lead an Arsenal team from the front. Think about this, this Arsenal team will be the worse team Gabriel Jesus has played in since leaving Brazil. He is constantly surrounded by world class players. Will moving to a smaller pond allow him to shine? We'll see... But he had the chance to supplant himself as Man City's number 9 after Aguero left and he never took it. As soon as Haaland rumours started to spread he fucked off. Weak Mentality. Same as Odegaard at Real Madrid. These players will never bring the club back to even being a consistent top 4 club, let its past glories.
Ask yourself, what attributes does Gabriel Jesus have over Nketiah? They are the exact same build, average short, quick, high pressing forward. Gabriel Jesus can dribble better, whoopty-doo. That's not the 25 goals extra you need to get top 4 . If I'm being honest, I back Eddie to score more than Jesus (atleast per game) just because he is more greedy for goals.
