>>32004532Dorn and Horus disembarked from the Land Raider to meet up with the rest of the Primarchs present, and they were sharing a similar expression for the Olympian's mannerisms. Robutte Guilliman, who had spent more than many a painstaking year arranging for the gate's construction, was only barely restraining any outward signs of distaste while Magnus the Red shook his head in disappointment.
"It has been a while...brothers," Horus opened up.
"Indeed it has," Magnus responded. "How long has it been since we have been in front of this palace? On our way to visit our Father?"
"However long it has been, I say that we make this the beginning," Dorn then added. "We start the efforts to rebuild Terra here, with this battle. We show this...whoever he is that the Emperor's will is not paranoia, but faith. Faith that some days, there really is a miracle for them."
Robutte only broke his silence then, "What convinced you of that?"
"For one thing, we managed to be all together for one. That in itself is almost impossible to do."
Abaddon then interjected, "Sir, while I admit that this reunion is indeed touching, we do need to-"
"I understand." As the Primarchs began walking, Horus asked, "Do you wish to accompany us, Cypher?"
The Lord of the Fallen felt it. He was so close now to success. All he needed to do was to take that step. Give the sword to the Emperor. Redemption was here at last and-
"What the hell?" he heard the vox go off. "Xenos vessels? Here?!" Alpharius was shocked at this. "Cypher, report."
"Horus, Dorn, Magnus and Guilliman are in."
"Good, so you are free," Alpharius responded, " Now you have to head back to the starport. We need all hands on deck if these xenos prove to be aggressive!"
"Sir, is there truly a-"
"I am giving you an order."
In frustration, Cypher sighed. He had no way of defying a Primarch, after all. Even though it was his double that gave him this opportunity, he still could not take it.
