The galaxy is your oyster when you are a space marine. In Spess Mareen: Republican Commando, the players are a Deathwatch Kill Team sent to the Tiji Sector to address what should have been a minor trouble called the "Hellstar" and its cult. Now known to be a horrific entity the size of a gas giant, that can consume entire worlds and cause even a Space Marine to feel fear, the Commandos are tasked with stopping this thing...somehow. Far from civilized Imperial space, stuck out in the galactic boondocks, and facing horrific enemies and allies that will test their patience and sanity, they must complete their mission, combining the faith of the present with the strength of the past, all in the Emperor's name.
