>>74977769>I'm so glad you finally get rid of your vials. Idk if i helped you making this decision but i'm happy seeing it finally done.
In my old old version from months ago, I think I originally had 4x vials in the deck, and thanks to you + testing it a bunch, I trimmed those to 2x MD, 2x sideboard when I was still running the TNN/vial beatdown package. I will say that I won a couple of games during endsteps by comboing off in response to something and then vialing in oracle, so vial wasn't always useless, but I do think it's the right decision to get rid of them.>Paradigm Shift
Interesting idea! If I went that route I'd probably add in some FoNs/other counters with that added space since mtgo disproportionately is filled with decks that fold to a wall of counters.>Btw i strongly advise you to play a second copy of thassa in the MD
I've thought about this too. My reasoning is that my two cabal therapies mean that in most scenarios (especially in game 1s) I can clear any counters from their hand before the dread return. Even when I need to stop milling and pre-emptively protect against a possible surgical extraction, I can still name FoW with the other one. Luckily in all of my playing with the deck so far, I've yet to have a dread return countered (being unlucky with oracle getting milled before the first cabal therapy/narcomoeba and it getting surgical'd is a potential worry in game 2, though. though in that case i'd actually be fucked even with extra copies, maybe even more so).
That said, if I went with the Paradigm Shift idea then I'd definitely have to include more copies.>without the vials i'm convinced x3 caverns is mandatory.
Hmm, that might be a good idea too. I really like cavern in the deck since SFM and nomads are both Kor and Oracle and Cephalid are both Wizards, it's like it was just made for the deck.
Thanks as always for the input! I'll keep you updated with the progress
