Large age differences are quite common and accepted in other cultures. It's usually shaming tactics from women, and then I see guys doing it to other guys, and I'm convinced it because the guys are either jealous themselves, or will try and use anything they can find to feel superior to someone else. Height, hair, age.. anything they can leverage.
Of course the women are there just for the money, but most guys know this. They want someone to be nice to them and give them sex and cook and clean. Basically a maid + lover combo. Most of the expats have been run through the ringer and chewed up by divorce to a Western woman. They have almost no dating options at their age, aside from some old, entitled, fat, wrinkly, 65 year old chick who has a ton of emotional hang-ups herself.
So as long as the guy never forgets the situation, he can enjoy a live in sex maid who he can hang out with instead of being alone, shivering by himself in a run down flat in London.
And it's not really about having a personal connection with someone 30 years younger who barely speaks English.
Whether or not you think its worse or better to be legit alone all the time is up to you, but there is no affordable way to have a 30 year old lover and maid as a 70 year old guy in the West. But in SEA it's financially affordable.
Sort of hilarious that while sanctimonious young guys here are scorning and judging those expats, those geezers are busy doing their thing and getting their dicks sucked every night. I'm sure they would all have preferred to stay married to a beautiful MILF until they die of a heart attack.. but life rarely pans out like that, and after aging out of the Western world, you gotta do something with yourself. You might live for another 30 years or so.. so wtf are guys supposed to do? Suffer alone just so that some incel teenagers on 4Chan "approve" of them?
