True, the last two years have seen some crazy transformations.
But even then, in other ways, it is a perfect example of what I was saying.
The state when crazy, the people, not so much. They seriously didn't care. As soon as the restrictions were lifted, only a slim minority of people continued to take measures on their own.
Most people went back to normal, showing that they didn't really care about the restrictions or the virus, but they just didn't care that the government was telling them what to do.

Here's the list of people who died this week in NSW by vaccination status.
The overwhelming majority of them (~87%) are vaccinated.
The unvaccinated make up zero of those hospitalised and ICU patients.
Even this death data is fucky too because for some reason the unknown deaths are so low but the unknown hospitalisations and ICUs are so high, which makes you think they are just putting unknowns into the unvaccinated dataset.
