The truth is, Lavey himself may have been trying to prove a point that one can believe in something trans-dimensional without necessarily believing or at least worshiping a deity. You don't spend half of your God damn book on invocations just to say there is no god. But this is not baby's first black magick. This is 2spooky4u law of attraction. Which is why I think Lavey said Christianity was the best thing that could happen for Satanism. Because modern Protestantism itself has become a law of attraction hooplah. "God helps those who help themselves" is no different than "self responsibility of m'uh karma" or some shit. Perhaps the only real difference is where as the Satanist believes "the secret" exists for all to tap into, Christians believe God ultimately decides and distributes this law of attraction and we will not gain any of it without asking.
