None of this was the big event you seem to think. She wasn't a lolcow or heavily followed. All it takes is one thread, one image. Someone took the edited picture and made up a shitty story because GO TO SLEEP edits were memed a lot. The pasta has no relation to the image, no reason to... like 99% of all made up pastas to go with random "creepy" images.
